In short, we do our best to maximize the likelihood of encountering snakes on this tour. If no snake is encountered, we offer a free follow-up herping trip, which can take place the very next day or on any day of your choice.

Hanoi is now in the coldest part of winter (usually from December to March). During this time, snake activity is very low. If you go herping now, your chances of seeing snakes are much lower. We recommend not booking the Hanoi Herping tour during this period. However, if you still want to go, we will offer a discount. Please contact us for more information.

During this time, these snakes are most active, providing herping enthusiasts with the highest chance of encountering them in their natural habitat.
- Long-sleeved and long-legged clothing: You should wear this kind of clothes to protect yourself from insects
- Flashlight: You must bring your own flashlight, and its battery should be able to be used for at least 5 hours
